Deliveries through Marketplace and CasperVend muddled up

I use a CasperVend terminal for delivery of some items. It shows a lot of items which I never bought through Casper, but from MARKETPLACE. This is not mentioned. In stead it gives an error and some suggestions about possible causes. The real cause is not among them: I never bought those through Casper! When I realise that, I go to Marketplace and... can still get the items redelivered that were 'no longer available'.

This is working as intended. Being able to redelivery marketplace purchases through CasperVend is a feature that we support.

As Tjay Wicken says, merchants using CasperVend can synchronize their inworld- and MP-sales from within Caspervend. This has several advantages for Merchants:
- Merchants see those sales side-by-side in the CasperVend backend
- Merchants get sale-statistics and can evaluate inworld locations vs. the MP
- Merchants can send redeliveries to people who bought on the MP
- Merchants can send updates to people who bought on the MP
However there is also a
huge benefit for Buyers
in it:- Buyers can get redeliveries both for inworld and MP purchases from anyCasperVend redelivery terminall
That said, again as Tjay Wicken correctly diagnoses, not all merchants are up to the task. Properly assigning in-world vendor products to the MP equivalents is tedious, and correcting assignment errors is a very non-intuitive process. It needs a certain level of tech-affinity that not all merchants have.
What you can do is to contact the merchant(s) in question and tell them that something seems to be messed up. As a merchant, I would welcome such feedback.

I believe this is because the merchants connected CasperVend with the marketplace API.
My guess is that whenever this happens, it is likely because the merchant didn't associate the products properly inside the CasperVend control panel.
