Marketplace Cashier Checkout page showing a $L decimal amount

Clicking buy now produces a cashier page which shows an amount with a decimal and 2 following zero's as if real dollar amounts which misleads the buyer into thinking they are paying ACTUAL dollars. This caused me a moment of panic and made me think my account was going to be charged USD until I went back and looked at the page for a second buy now purchase. It also happens when you check out from the cart page I noticed which has never been a thing prior to now. This really needs to be fixed so as not to cause panic among buyers, or you'll have people who don't know better to check, contacting and sending in a crap ton of "You ripped me off" type of complaints. https://gyazo.com/742c636dd70e80a9ad88878ca96c506d

Noticed the format was back to normal tonight. Wanted to share it here.

This should not be happening.
If the cashier shows L$50.00 .. even though we don't use or have fractional L$ amounts, the implication is that we might at some point, and that is distracting at point of sale.
When it comes to fractional L$, we absolutely do not need or want (1c is L$3). This only makes sense if were about to go done some crypto disaster rabbit hole.
Do you want to make L$ crypto?
Do you want US thinking that Linden might be wanting L$ crypto?
Probably not. Fix this.

Coffee Pancake ALL of this. After the initial gut panic that felt like phishing, my next question was 'What is the angle with this flex, because it looks like they want to change how currency works, and go with some dumb crypto. Just outright assassinate the grid economy."
Still hoping that someone was messing around with the code and forgot to change a setting in how that is displayed. That its gone unaddressed due to holidays shorter hours, and higher volume of workload.
The longer it stays tho.. the more I'm expecting to see more fiddling with currency handling.
It'll be all it takes to make people like me step out after 16yrs, and lock the door behind me. I can find somewhere else to put my RL USD$, that doesn't play games with my confidence in their agenda.

Seeing this as well...

I agree that the Linden dollar should not be displayed this way. Since this seems to appear only on the checkout page, I suspect it may have something to do with how Tilia handles transactions. Still a bad idea 💡

I noticed this tonight and thought I had lost my damn mind, and had the same reaction you did. It absolutely freaked me out, and I had to do some double checking that I wasn't being scammed or something. I even asked in a discord if I was imagining shit, before I came here to see if it was a 'thing'.
I hate it, and it make's my stomach sink to hit 'buy now', because that looks like I'm dropping $100.00 cash not 100L. They need to keep the USD format where it belongs, and the L$ format in it's proper places. This feels gross as a shopper, and let me tell you what.. as a merchant, I'm not happy presenting my prices at check out in this format AT ALL. It's confusing & uncomfortable AF.
