Hi Lucia Nightfire we haven't made any update to allow for gifting L$0 items, and when we looked up the order to see if it was related to the product, we were unable to gift that L$0 item.
Can you provide either a screen recording or more information so we can trouble shoot this further?

I can send a gyazo of the email I got that shows someone gifted a L$0 listing of mine to a third party.
Whether that actually happened or the wrong data was sent in the email, only you can determine, though.
Where should I send the gyazo link to?
I'd prefere not to show buyer/receiver names here.

That would actually be an improvement. Was asked for countless times on the old JIRA, as you know.

Years ago, just after gifting was implemented, this was purposely blocked to prevent bad actors or bots from spamming targets with L$0 items, whether those be demos or freebies as well as prevent sellers from being spammed with sales notifications.
