Accessibility Feature Request Category

I suffer from severe RSI and so my accessibility needs would lead me to search for feature requests that include the word "key" as in "key chain" or "key chord". Without an Accessibility category this produces a long list of (mostly closed) LSL feature requests (even when filtered for User Interface).
An Accessibility category might also embolden those with accessibility needs to make more feature requests.

We have added an Accessibility category. Thanks for your suggestion!

Hi! Would you mind clarifying this post for us?
Would you like an additional category in canny for submitting bugs and feature requests that are about accessibility? Or is this a marketplace feature request?
Thanks
Earnest Deed
Juniper Linden its for an additional category, because at present it is very difficult to search for accessibility feature requests. I suspect this is exacerbated by a low volume of accessibility feature requests being made, because people with manual dexterity issues do not want to scroll and click through long lists of irrelevant results.

Earnest Deed: Thanks for the quick response!
Just to make sure I understand, you'd like to have an additional category in canny for web feature requests so you can easily see if an accessibility feature has already been requested, correct?
Either way, I think its a great idea to add that category for web features and bugs. I'll have to poke around since I don't have the permissions to make that category myself but hopefully we can get it up soon.
The caveat is that previous accessibility requests/bugs will not be in that category after we make it. We do review canny tickets somewhat regularly to make sure they're sorted but there's no guarantee everything will be there from before the category creation date.

Juniper Linden that is precisely what I was requesting with the exception that it is not just web features and bugs as accessibility issues are probably even more important for the viewer. E.g., in my OP I suggested I would want to search for key chains and key chords, because very few viewer menu options can be set as keyboard shortcuts.

Earnest Deed I can completely understand and I've passed the request to those that can set it up for us!
Unfortunately I don't have complete control over the viewers bug/feature request set up since its not in my purview, but I will pass it along as well.
