Add a "Dinkie' category to the list when posting on MP

There is no Dinkie category, so when we post our items on MP we have to use regular category for human sized clothes. It would be easier and less confusion on 'where' to post our items if we actually had a 'Dinkie' category to post them under.

What if the Dinkies creator gave permission for this? Permission that it was okay for the Dinkie category.
Just a wild thought, probably doesn't work that way.

The avatar in question is called a "Dinkie", there is no other name you can use, there is another avatar called tinies, so tiny avatar will bring those up, and perhaps confuse new buyers, this is my own opinion, no malice is intended, for information purposes only, thank you, smiles!

I am all for having a specific "Dinkie" category in SLM. Dinkies are a fairly large market, and deserve their own category.
That said, every merchant that sells Dinkie items should be using the term 'dinkie' in their product title or tags. That's just sensible marketing.

yeah Dinkies need their own Category just for ease of search. its really just like any other brand of avatar. and if you search Tiny your going to get Winx or other broad listings for small avs. and while you can just search Dinkie. there's a lot of items that don't have Dinkie as a main heading. so they just don't get seen.

Dinkies should have their own MP Category, as they are completely different from Tinies or other small avatars. it isn't just a brand, it's a specific type of avatar with specific needs for their clothing and accessories. It would be nice when shopping to not have to search through thousands of items for other avatars that are "not" Dinkies, before i find what I'm looking for, for my Dinkie avatar. Please allow a Dinkies category on MP. Thank you!

Sntax The "brand" name of them are actually Dinkies. Tiny Avs are another type of avs.

Sntax "Tiny" is a specific type of avatar that is folded. "Titchie" is similarly folded, but smaller. "Dinkie" is an unfolded bento rig, but small. "Petite" is a tiny human.
so the problem is, most synonyms for "small" are already "brand" names.
"Small Avatars" seems simplest. this would include tiny, dinkie, titchy, petite, chibi avatars, babies and toddlers, and possibly tweens? as well as the new plushie avatars, muso mice, the ones by MoOh, etc etc etc.
people would have to break out from there by including the specific brand via keywords/product title. it's not like humans, where creators bundle several brand-name bodies in one product.
"Smol" is also a word i've seen used (mainly at jinx) for things that are for "not normal sized humans."
"Small Bento Avatars" or "Small Anthro Avatars" might be more specific, as well. this will leave out any tinies or ferals.
BTW, "Tiny" is listed as a community on marketplace. while dinkies are considered part of that community, would it help the listings at all if they had their own?

Rockridge Constantine but Dinkies are not just a brand, they are a specific type of avatar. Lumping them in with small avatars will not help in finding Dinkie-specific items any more than their current situation of being lumped in with human type avatars. DInkies are a unique type of avatars and we should be allowed to have a category that makes searching for and shopping for DInkie avatars easier. Thank you! :)

Sntax Dinkies are a specific type of avatar, plus yes, the name of them, but there is different types of Dinkies. Dinkie items only fit Dinkies, they won't fit any other avatar, lumping them together with all the other small type avatars will have the same effect we have on MP now, which is not finding what you need without flipping thru dozens and dozens of pages looking for the Dinkie item your searching.

Bloodsong Termagant yeah i agree we need a category of generally small (under one Meter ) avatars to include tinies Dinkies and all other small avatars but not any Biggie child Avs. there's way to much Danger to creators for selling something Adult in a category with under age avatars and Tiny Avatars as a Category should include ponies and other small feral style avs as well

Kulara Darkstone I appreciate your explanation, but there is a conflict here with trying to strike a balance and not opening the door for other possible brands to want a category for their specific brand. It is probably well known that Dinkies are a small avatar and that would be a good place to begin a search and use the keyword "Dinkie" to narrow the search for that specific avatar.

Sntax Even in RL, "Smol" has come to be recognized as smaller avatars, usually of a cute nature. This would include Tinies, Dinkies, Petites, Titchies, etc. I have seen this used increasingly on SL. Since it is a RL-recognized term, might be good if the community adopted it. : )

Sntax Dinkies are Dinkies . we are a unique avatars. We can not be called anything else - Anything else can not describe us. Dinkie clothing wont fit anyone else. Dinkie furniture is smaller than children . We are UNIQUE and we NEED DINKIES to help promote things that we make for Dinkies. Nothing else will do .
