Add a profanity and abuse filter for Marketplace reviews

Hi
I would like to suggest a feature for the Second Life Marketplace: a filter for offensive or abusive language in reviews and comments.
Currently, creators can receive reviews that include insults, harassment, or personal attacks, which can harm their reputation and create unnecessary conflict. A system to automatically flag, block, or hold for moderation reviews containing certain offensive words or expressions would help maintain a safer and more professional environment for both creators and customers.
Features could include:
Automatic detection of offensive or harassing words in reviews.
Option for creators to review flagged comments before they appear publicly.
A way to maintain legitimate feedback while preventing abuse or trolling.
This would protect creators from unfair attacks, improve the quality of Marketplace interactions, and ensure that reviews reflect genuine customer experiences rather than being used as a tool for harassment.
Thank you for considering this improvement to the Marketplace system.

Option for creators to review flagged comments before they appear publicly???? You would be deceiving buyers by showing only the positive reviews for your product. That would be missing the truth, wouldn't it?

cyberisabr Resident You're completely missing the point. Systems like this already exist on Amazon, Google Maps, and many other platforms. The goal isn’t to hide negative reviews, but to filter out insults and harassment. If for you insulting people is ‘showing the truth,’ then that’s a very subjective view. Plus, it would lighten the workload for the Lindens and improve the overall quality of reviews.
