add a sub category for games

The category Games is too broad and it needs subcategories.
Decorations - just decorations.
Playable - games that are scripted in second life and can be played.
Add ons - products people buy for games like potions, food, cards, spells

Thank you for taking the time to share your suggestion regarding adding a new category to the Marketplace. Input like yours helps us understand how Residents use the platform and where improvements might be valuable.
At this time, we won’t be moving forward with adding this specific category. The Marketplace team continually reviews taxonomy updates based on overall usage, demand patterns, and broader system priorities, so while this change isn’t planned, your feedback has been noted for future evaluations.
We appreciate your engagement and your commitment to helping make the Marketplace better for everyone.

Chrl Linden Thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate the response, though I was surprised by the length of time it took to receive follow up on a relatively straightforward Marketplace taxonomy suggestion.
The intent of my original message was not to request a new feature, but to improve item discoverability within the existing Games category by introducing clearer subcategories such as Playable games, Decorative items, and Game add-ons. This distinction already reflects how buyers search and how sellers describe their products.
I understand that not every suggestion can be acted on immediately. However, better clarification on how feedback is evaluated or where such suggestions are best submitted, would help set more realistic expectations for contributors going forward.
Thank you again for taking the time to review the feedback.

BrianTopp Resident: Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to follow up and share more of your thoughts.
To give a bit more insight into our process: Marketplace taxonomy updates are handled in batches so we can review changes in a consistent way and evaluate them from an overall perspective. Because of this, there can sometimes be a delay between when feedback is submitted and when a response is provided, but we do aim to reply as soon as items have gone through review.
Thank you again for your suggestion and for engaging with us we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I'd say a few steps further may help. "Breedables" stuff isn't really a game in the same sense, and sometimes when someone does a huge release, the games section is flooded with stuff around that.
Media-On-A-Prim would be a good section too, as a lot of people either can't or don't like that, and there's so many games that are media-on-a-prim that having it's own classification could help as an alternative to Playable games.
