Infinity scroll on Marketplace

make any result on the page have an infinite scroll, such as loading the first 24, 48, or 96 items and then loading the next group of items on the same page after reaching the end. This feature feels more natural in a modern search than clicking through to the next page.

Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.

Even the guy who literally invented infinite scroll thinks it was a bad idea and regrets ever doing it, so that does not speak highly of the concept: https://www.thetimes.com/article/i-m-so-sorry-says-inventor-of-endless-online-scrolling-9lrv59mdk

Even huge tech companies cannot implement infinite-scrolling that don't have numerous issues, such as memory leaks, jumping up/down while scrolling, forgetting your place when going back/forward, skipping/duplicating items when the contents change while mid-scrolling, and more. They may work okay some of the time in mobile apps, but here on the web, let's steer clear of them. Even sites like Amazon recognize this and continue to use pagination.

Please no! I hate infinity scroll with a passion, especially when I want to get to the footer. I wouldn't mind a 4th pagination setting after 96 (how about 512), but please, please no infinity scroll!

Jumping in from a user experience standpoint - having the option to choose between infinite scroll and pagination (which is clicking to the next page) would be good if this was implemented, as the method used for infinite scroll can cause crashing issues for people on some machines, and can lead to a loss in placement in the search if someone accidentally closed a tab and wanted to return later.
Not against having it, but giving people the choice to curate that themselves would be nice - even if search defaulted to an infinite scroll method!
