LSL Wiki: llSetPrimitiveParams contains two versions of parameter table
complete

* Navigate to https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetPrimitiveParams
* Examine the table of primitive parameters
NOTE: There are two versions of the table embedded in the page: search for PRIM_NAME to find the start of each of them. Seems like one would suffice. However:
NOTE: These tables are not quite identical. I cannot determine which the Lindens would consider canonical. My wiki-fu is not up to making sense of https://wiki.secondlife.com/w/index.php?title=Template:LSL_Constants/PrimitiveParams&action=edit

Spidey Linden Since you've marked this as complete, the duplicate variable lists with what appears to be redundant information is intentional? It's all still there, one that calls the first variable "Flag" and one that calls it "Parameter," the explanation and the variables tables flipped, and with expanded/complete information on variables only sometimes in one table (PRIM_TYPE being the one that jumps out as only having complete information in the second table being towards the top of both tables- but PRIM_CLICK_ACTION has all of it in both?). I never really paid any attention to it until Lou pointed it out, but it is kind of confusing to have to flip back and forth to find the place you need some of the information, but everything else is duplicated.

Spidey Linden I agree with Allegory Malaprop: the issue doesn't seem to have been addressed at all: there remain two tables describing the parameter names; they are not quite identical; it's not immediately apparent which is most canonical.

Since the SL Wiki is currently broken (see issue https://feedback.secondlife.com/web-bugs/p/urgent-sl-wiki-syntax-highlight-is-broken-and-in-world-access-via-viewer-is-down), Lou's claim can be confirmed by looking at the Wayback Machine's archived page: https://web.archive.org/web/20250310152916/https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Llsetprimitiveparams
It can be clearly seen that the tables are, indeed, duplicated.
Once the SL Wiki is fixed again, I'd be glad to have a closer look at this page. It's not that I'm
that
good/better at making sense of MediaWiki's complex templating system. Additionally, to make matters more complicated, history shows that this page was heavily redacted by Lindens
over the past 2–3 years (mostly because of the glTF goodies), and it would be important to understand which of the tables is more recent/more authoritative before
'eliminating' the superfluous one 😅Spidey Linden
Gwyneth Llewelyn: we believe the wiki should be more stable now, can you try again please? Thanks!!

Spidey Linden hiya! I'm afraid that the SL Wiki is as broken as at was a dozen days ago. At least on my side of the Atlantic! (I'm assuming that Akamai/EdgeSuite might cache parts of the content as close as the edge as possible — if that's the case, I can
almost
see the closest data centre to my physical location from the balcony of my home, that's how close it is... and I've seen their servers on the rack, years ago!)Just take a look at a random LSL function page, such as https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGetInventoryType — any which has snippets of code will do — and tell me if it looks good to you (scroll down until you can read the examples).
And then do the same from within SL's built-in script editor, by looking up a particular function/type/constant.
You'll immediately understand what we have been talking about.
