Marketplace Promo/Discount Option

An interesting option that would remove hours of massive work for most large marketplace stores would be an option in which we can put our entire store or groups of products on discount, so that on days like Black Friday or 11.11 for example we can easily put our store has a discount so that our public can purchase the products, it would also be interesting if there was some type of visual warning that that product is at a discount, such as text in red writing the discount value of that product, thus easily showing that the product is at a discount For the buyer, with this idea people would be able to buy more as they would know that it was on sale and it would help with the second life economy in general.

Agreed -- this would be a huge time saver! Ideally, I'd like to be able to create a campaign by selecting a subset of my products, either by category, tag or manually from a list, and then setting a date range and discount. Additionally it should be possible to modify individual listings covered by the campaign -- increased discount on certain items, for example. The campaign should end automatically when the end date is reached, but it should also be possible to end it immediately.

Can we add coupon codes for Marketplace?

For example, during a Black Friday Sale, we could offer a "BlackFriday" promo code for 50% off on all our Marketplace listings. Alternatively, we could create an easier way to instantly apply a 50% discount across all Marketplace items with a "on sale" badge.

Agreed, this would be most useful.

It's a very good idea ! But I would add that we should limit the promotion time for each item during the year. And also ensure that the item is sold for less than previously. Otherwise we risk ending up with smart people who will put all their articles in red all year round, a bit like on AliExpress...

YES; really good idea!

Yes, many times we don't put Discounts on the marketplace, because it is extremely difficult to change the value of dozens or hundreds of items manually and individually, one at a time, and the worst thing is when you need to return to the original value at the end of the discount.
So this mechanism would be really interesting to be able to add discounts on specific products, groups of products and the entire store.
And also, it would be great to have an option to add the start and end date of the discount, generating a time counter that automatically deactivates the discount on products, without requiring a second manual effort to deactivate it.

Trevorios Latzo: I agree with all this... It would also be great if we could add a start time and end time for the sale so we can set it and forget it. Takes way to long to go through and manually change each product which is why I rarely do sales on MP. So being able set products that are grouped in categories too which means we probably need a new way to define an alternative category as I might want to set all my seasonal stuff on sale but it might be put in several of the defined clothing categories since MP only allows one choice at the moment.

Eventyra Resident: Following up on this, as a 30 year UX design veteran, adding even generic attribute tags for clothing such as "top", "bottom", "dress", "coat", "boots", "winter" etc would allow for the sale mechanism to target only a specific category of clothing in your store. You could easily then set a 25% sale for 1 week starting on X date for everything in your store tagged "Winter". Set and done.
