Profiles to redirect to Primfeed instead of my.secondlife.com
HatsuneMikuCV01 Resident
Looking to see if its possible to redirect my profile feed link at https://my.secondlife.com/hatsunemikucv01 to https://Primfeed.com/hatsunemikucv01.resident is much modern and has more features. Since my my.secondlife.com does not work for me.
Thanks

I do not think this is s good idea for safety reasons.

SL's embedded browser panels shouldn't be going to non-SL external sites unless the user has expressly chosen to go there. LL doesn't endorse or control the content of those websites. It's a potential security/privacy risk.
You can simply put a link to your Primfeed in your regular profile and/or Picks.
If my.secondlife.com isn't working for you, perhaps open a ticket to get help with that.

I don't want anything to do with the "next attempt" to create a Second Life-only site by outsiders. I have seen a few of them since 2008 that went absolutely nowhere in the end. Being redirected to my.secondlife.com was bad enough as I can no longer look for people's interests and languages etc. In stead I have to look at dozens of displayname changes often. :-(

You'll have a whole lot of people without Primfeed accounts (like me) be blocked from seeing your feed if you do that.

I think, unlike Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/TikTok, that with Primfeed being solely for use by Secondlife registered people this could be a great idea. It also would be nice to see a direct link to be able to post pics to Primfeed like they set for Flickr.

my.secondlife.com works for many residents, and I see it used frequently.
Primfeed - very much like Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok - is a commercial 3rd-party application. I doubt the Lab will play favourites.
What WOULD be interesting is to have fields for social netwerks that each resident can use for their preferred networks, so we get rid of those spammy/data-sucking linktree links in many profiles.
My money, btw, is on the Lab buying Primfeed within the next 24 months. When that happens, it would be a totally different ballgame.
