Creating an event in Search shows a photo of the landing point selected. Adding a second photo or giving the option to replace the LP photo with an alternate photo would greatly enhance the listing impact. I apologize if I've selected the wrong "Category" for this request.

While the idea sounds good in theory, I feel like this can lead to a slippery slope of inappropriateness.
Aside from the overwhelming amount of AI being used to advertise stuff for SL offline (and now inworld) and people's profile photos, the about land photo is usually what's chosen for the LP photo was my original understanding.
If people don't change their about land photos, then...that's more on the land owner/renter isn't it?

Kilolo Jenkins I understand both of your concerns. The photo proposal is no more subject to inappropriateness than one created as the landing point image. Additionally, many venues have multiple events daily. There is a time limit prior to an event for changes to a listing.
