PBR eyelashes are not rendered correctly

I have tried this in Firestorm &, Alchemy for Mac. If I have my graphics set above Mid, my eyebrows on my Lelutka head are not shown. If I change the Alpha more from Blend to Mask, then the top lashes are shown as a distorted mass of black lines (like badly applied mascara). As this happens on at least 2 viewers with PBR enabled, I assume its a LL PBR issue.

Marked as expected for the eyelashes behaviour when set to alpha mask.
This separate issue here is currently used for tracking the Alpha textures disappearing bug on mac: https://feedback.secondlife.com/bug-reports/p/pbr-some-textures-with-transparency-do-not-render-in-alphablend-macos-sonoma-m1

ok, i have tried on the LL viewer (most recent from the download page) and the same effect is there. I disabled shadows, and the lashes are back. I have confirmed this behaviour as well on the Firestorm Beta and Alchemy beta.
The lashes are the standard ones build into the LeLUTKA Avalon Head 3.1

Atlas Linden See me previous answer :)

Thanks Ona.
There is a current bug where alpha blended textures disappear while shadows are enabled.
In regards to your issue about the eyelashes becoming a distorted mass of black lines, this appears to be expected behaviour while Alpha is set to Mask.

Hi Ona,
Are you able to reproduce this issue on a LL viewer? If so, is a difference spotted on whether shadows are enabled or not?
Can you please provide more details on the exact piece of content that you're having issues with? And is it using BOM or is it a separate attachment?
Melody OwO
Ona do you have shadows enabled? Alphablend textures vanishing with shadows enabled on Mac is a known/documented issue.

Ona, I just checked my Lelutka head above Mid on the recent FS beta and my lashes and brows are rendering as they should. Sometimes things take a moment to render so you could try it in a different area and give it a bit just to test if it's the pc/graphic load time. for the lashes specifically btw, when you have it on mask, make sure you adjust the cut off slider underneth it. at it's lowest setting you will always see a block until you do. but also make sure you do test this on the LL viewer. part of being in the beta includes testing on both to verify issues being viewer specific.

Snowlord Resident I believe you run Windows so would not see these issues.
Snowlord Resident
Melody, ah yes your belief would be correct. thanks for the insight :)
