Organize and Keep Desired Group Notices Easily

Is there a way you can create folders within the group notices, so you can keep those you will to attend... or maybe a calendar? If you go through and keep the notices you want they get buried ... under all the new notices. A way to seperate and attach to a calendar would increase community interaction.

I'd like it if we were able to classify group notices into "types." I get notices from stores all the time that ask you to follow their social media and I'm already following them so it doesn't apply to me. If I'm part of a big group that sends out different types of notices, maybe I only want to receive some for specific events. Or groups can send out notices that fall under "reminders", "staff only", "for VIPs", "events", etc. Some of my groups I want to receive ALL group notices - this could be the default when first joining a group. You could perhaps manually select which ones you want to opt out of if you realize a group sends lots that aren't relevant to you.

What I mean by this is I wish we could mark group notices as types or topics so if you've already seen a certain group notice that is the EXACT SAME as one being sent out again tomorrow/later in the day, you can mark it so you won't receive it again. Stores send out reminders daily (or more often!) that I want to receive, but once I've received it, I don't need it again. This could be a tick mark that you click on that's on the group notice when it's sent out while you're online and you can quickly mark it so you won't receive that exact notice again, and a checkbox you can click on in notices when in the Group Notices tab for that group.

Won't this cause store owners to game the system by just changing a word to get repeats redelivered and won't this cause the already strained group notice system to have to scan and remember prior posts?
I suggest just turning off notices for groups that crank out dups and just open and read their notices on whatever day of the week makes sense for their activities.

I'm surprised you even get any notification of any group notice. I don't get many, usually the ones that would be the most useful don't get delivered, especially not to email, so I have to log in just to see if I should be logged in. Maybe that should be fixed first?

I get that there's scads of notices from certain stores, or venues. They often get crossposted to multiple groups, meaning you get the same thing from each.
Your idea has considerable merit for group crossposts - perhaps you want to see everything that comes in for a shopping event (or two or more) but then one vendor sends their stuff out on each, in addition to their own group. If you mute the shopping group, you miss the other notices you do want to see, and blocking the vendor just invites trouble with deliveries should you want to buy any of their stuff.
That said, there's two ways to combat the "group spam" problem already set up inworld.
1) Each Group Profile has a checkbox for "receive group notices". Uncheck it and save the profile, and now you won't get that group's notifications. You can see them in the group's Notices panel (and read them from there) at any point, you just don't get them popping up in your viewer's Notice feed anymore. I do this for

prolific groups, ones where it's expected that there will be a lot of notices that I may or may not care about (Showbuzz, looking at you. :) )2) For redundant notices, check to ensure you're not subscribed to them directly - some vendors are doing this as an alternative to group membership. You click a board, your name gets recorded into a list, and then the vendor IM's everyone on the list a copy of the latest blurb, over and over. You should be able to remove yourself from a subscription by visiting the store and clicking an "unsubscribe" icon on a kiosk, or IM the vendor directly asking to be removed.
