picture-service.secondlife.com image resolution failures

Images served through https://picture-service.secondlife.com/ have intermittently and increasingly failed to load.
Initially a page refresh was sufficient to get the picture to load properly, but now that doesn't seem to work either anymore.
Accessing the picture-service links directly returns a plain page with the error message "Your request could not be completed. Sorry." instead of serving the image asset, even though these textures exist and the picture-service previously worked fine for these textures.
An example link that is no longer serving the image asset at the time of me writing this:

I think the intermittent issues that seemed to resolve with reloading the page started more than a month ago. Last week it got to the point that nothing loads at all.

Lettie Linden It happens a lot now, for us developers it really causes a huge problem since some of us have live pages running with this API. Lately I get: "Your request could not be completed. Sorry." No images are displayed at all, I had a few that were working a few hours ago, then they just stopped.

"Marketplace" is the wrong category. I hope Dan Linden or one of the others can move it to the proper branch and take a look at it.

Peter Stindberg Out of curiosity, what should have been the correct category? I was going to create a ticket for the issue when I saw that one was already created.

MadMacit Resident I would have probably filed it under "server bugs", since it worked before (thus bug), is a server API backend, and that category gets attention from the Lab really fast.

Peter Stindberg yes, it is quite random. One moment it is working, one time it is not, an image is visible for a few hours then another is visible.
It is very odd, I suppose that either one of the services is not working or there is an overload somewhere that makes sone services crash and tehn restart automatically

Yes, the problem has been there in the last couple of days.
It is also a very instable problem, as in some cases images are visible with one resolution and not with others:
The first is working (as of now), the other two no, and they are the same image (you can see the uuid id the same)

MadMacit Resident The first does not work for me. I have the impression there is some heavy caching involved, since some images do work for longer times, and then suddenly stop.

I can confirm. Happens intermittently since a few days, regardless what resolution gets queried.

Yes, this seems to affect all pictures. I tried several and none worked.
