Following on from previous , fruit, cyberpunk unsersea, etc suggestions to new linden home suggestions.
The following suggestions cropped up regularly. Bio dome homes, including creating a themes surrounding a central structure , illustrations kindly supplied by an enthusiastic friend. Proposal was based off using an existing product in world already.
1 - bio dome homes. Utilising the Aspens glass & seasonal landscape. Domes could use the Tiki's for structure. Vary sizes for the 3 memberships, especially the plus 512's. The camper landscape would suit that. The PP could use the Meds landscape & the Premium could use any of the existing landscapes. Magical effect achieved by utilisation of the fantasy theme.
2 - Large central structure, example a suggestion was a large dominant tree extending up skywards, with roads, rail etc along the branches. Communities living in one structure. Although air traffic might be impeded. It would be unique theme to standard land only townships.
Even to a suggestion a tree could be used horizontally, IE a fallen tree, represented below.
Photo concepts included with permission.

Adding the other my other previous suggestions in full in their own posts & images to this. Space/alien, Fruit, Undersea, Cyberpunk, Cat, Hobbit shire & quirky shell house.
All that utilise existing themes & house components & components & with a range to suit all memberships.

I kind of like this concept -- especially since it seems flexible enough to accommodate quite a variety of different homes and environments underneath the domes. You could have a mix of "futuristic" Buck Rogers-esque structures, brass-and-glass "steampunk"-inspired ones, "alien" homes, etc., to further the illusion that each dome is its own environment.
Smiler Claus
Kester Eddingham They would be very flexible & creativity very much so. Lot of the theme suggestions photos were based initially on in world linden homes, just upping the norm to the... creativity unleashed environments. All down the creative genius of the Moles if the Lindens give the nod to take on such an endeavour & embrace such wilder environments.

Actually, I'd like to make one more suggestion and you might like it. I'm underwater theme for for mermaids i know that's another community that's somewhat overlooked. Not to mention, since it's underwater, I don't know the above SIM could also act as a sailing region as the water could go very deep
Smiler Claus
nathkyo Resident That comes up a lot, I did put a post showing some concept art from a mer wishing a undersea theme would occur, shown also below that was deep ocean based, with glass tunnels for link up roads, train & allowing ships & submersibles to use the waters.

Seems like several people below have expressed the same thought, so let me add to the chorus:
REAL "Fantasy" homes, please! We need Wizard Towers, Abbot's Retreats, Hobbit Homes... not just "suburban tract house with a few vaguely Elvish-looking bits tacked on", which is currently about all Fantasseria has to offer (and which are in no way ("perfect for residents coming from Elderglen" as the notecard claims). Someone needs to go back and re-watch "Lord of the Rings", "The Dark Crystal", "Willow", "The Neverending Story", "Labyrinth", "Krull", "Ladyhawke", and other high-fantasy films to see what _real_ epic-fantasy-inspired structures look like.

Kester Eddingham Amen to this!!

More cats. This is important.
Smiler Claus
Charlemagne Allen Like this , concept art created by a dinky cat herself. Although she said this was more evil kitty town style.

Bigger more ornate Victorians for PP, 2nding Garden Dist, NOLA themes, and something spooky, could be mixed with Shotgun style for 1024 and a Quarter Square for 512. Still stumping for 'light business' - with a limited number of vendors per parcel in some kind of residential/commercial theme.

I would love something more like the victorian theme for the premium plus members. The new orleans houses I saw mentioned could work, queen anns, etc. Just something a bit more witchy/goth adjacent. I currently have a ranch but my victorian will always be my favorite linden home i have had. I would love to be able to have that sort of styling again with the size and larger land impact i enjoy on my ranch even if its not my style.

I have an idea although I know it's going to make The moles more busy and not able to help the railroad community but I think this would be a cool idea for Linden homes an actual Linden area that can change with the seasons that would go from winter spring summer then fall. Instead of it being static There are a lot of items on Second Life marketplace that have seasonal and even weather changes.
Oatmeal Linden
nathkyo Resident: Hi nathkyo! We do have a Linden Home theme that is seasonal: Aspen Ridge. The regions just changed to summer at the beginning of June. :-)

I love the linden homes themes, and the moles have done a great job with the homes and the landscaping.
I like the option some themes have to turn the house to face a different way, I'd like to see that option for all homes.
For architectural style I like Georgian and art deco themed homes. I also like thatched cottages, but perhaps thatched roof options could be added to the chalet or fantasy themes?
What about a shopping themed area with small shops or pubs with residential spaces above. I could imagine a high street with themed shops along it, and maybe market stalls, or a town square or village green. These could be near stations or community hubs and styled to fit existing themes. If there are issues allowing commercial activity in linden home areas, they could be just for role play and to give a sense that you are living in a town or a village rather than a suburb.
