Scripting Features

Currently, prims owned by the script owner aren't able to be returned as per the wiki: "As a security measure, parcel owner, estate owner, and estate managers can not have their objects returned by this method, except when the object returns itself." ...which is understandable for user-rezzed content. Please update llReturnObjectsByID() with a check to allow return of self-rezzed objects. These are objects rezzed by the same object calling llReturnObjectsByID(). Whenever I have a massive amount of content that I wish to update in an automated fashion, I can't complete the process without tedious, repetitive, manual intervention come time to return each object to my inventory. This update would allow the process to be completely automated.

Rationale When standing up from an object, the user will just unsit and stop a possibly playing animation without properly ending the task they were doing. This often leads to very abrupt changes of animations and breaks immersion. This goes together with a possible "unsit target", as proposed here: https://feedback.secondlife.com/scripting-features/p/add-unsit-target-unsit-events Proposal Add a scripting event that catches an avatar's request to unsit and lets us play an animation, do a little scripted effect etc. before actually unsitting the avatar, maybe with a maximum time until the unsit is forced, so malicious scripts can't keep the avatar stuck forever.

I would like to suggest a function to filter llDamage types either by rejecting or accepting the specific type wanted. Possibly functioning similar to llCollisionFilter As a suggestion llDamageFilter(integer type, integer accept); integer type - bit mask, DAMAGE_TYPE_* flags integer accept - TRUE only process types that match, FALSE instead excludes matches this would be useful to prevent unwanted script events for damage_types that we do not want to account for in code

There currently isn't any way to determine whether an agent is able to unsit from a sit target or not. If SIT_FLAG_ALLOW_UNSIT and SIT_FLAG_SCRIPTED_ONLY are both not set on a sit target, then sitters can be in either of the following states: manually sat down, can unsit force-sitted via llSitOnLink , cannot unsit Scripts can't currently distinguish between these two scenarios. Although it's theoretically possible to watch for the return code of llSitOnLink , the experience_permissions event, and the experience_permissions_denied event, because the actual 'sit' occurs asynchronously it's impossible to know with certainty if the "unsit restriction" is in place. One possible solution might be to add a new read-only flag to llGetLinkSitFlags that indicates whether an avatar is sitting and was seated by script (by llSitOnLink ). For example, SIT_FLAG_SEATED_BY_SCRIPT . A script could then check that the SIT_FLAG_ALLOW_UNSIT flag is unset and SIT_FLAG_SEATED_BY_SCRIPT is set to determine whether they can actually unsit or not.

Pretty simple request: llClamp(integer val, integer min, integer max)
