Staggered release times for 2048 Linden Homes for European Timezones

I've just found a stuck trolley owned by Abnor Mole that is stuck on a region crossing at https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Crosseyed%20Bear/193/252/23 occupying one of the two tracks here. I'm not sure if this was an automated vehicle or just a runaway while he was testing something, but it looks like it's been stuck here for some time.

The Bellisseria Sandbox provides examples of Linden Homes from different themes, each positioned within a clearly defined parcel area. This gives Residents a valuable opportunity to test furniture, decorations, room layouts, compatible add-ons, and other household content inside the type of Linden Home for which that content is intended. However, the covenant currently displayed in the region appears to reproduce the general Linden Homes Covenant. It does not clearly explain the special purpose of the Bellisseria Sandbox or distinguish between testing household content inside the provided Linden Homes and rezzing private houses or other large structures in the public spaces between the designated testing areas. I propose adding a sandbox-specific section to the covenant that explicitly establishes the following rules: Residents may use the Linden Homes provided in the Bellisseria Sandbox to test their own furniture, decorations, appliances, lighting, interior layouts, compatible home add-ons, and other household content. All Resident-rezzed content must remain within the visible parcel boundaries or designated testing area associated with the selected Linden Home. Residents may not rez their own houses, complete buildings, platforms, or other large structures in roads, paths, landscaped areas, open public land, or in the spaces between the designated Linden Home parcel boundaries. Resident-rezzed content must not block access to another Linden Home, designated testing area, road, path, or other public facility. Objects extending beyond the designated testing area, or obstructing public spaces, may be returned without warning. The existing sandbox return time and all applicable performance, scripting, maturity, and Community Standards requirements would continue to apply. Suggested covenant wording: Bellisseria Sandbox-Specific Use The Linden Homes provided in this sandbox may be used by Residents to test their own furniture, decorations, appliances, lighting, interior layouts, compatible home add-ons, and other household content. All Resident-rezzed objects must remain within the visible parcel boundaries or designated testing area of the Linden Home being used. Residents may not rez private houses, complete buildings, platforms, or other large structures in roads, paths, landscaped areas, open public land, or in the spaces between the designated Linden Home parcel boundaries. Resident-rezzed objects must not obstruct access to other homes, designated testing areas, roads, paths, or public facilities. Objects placed outside a designated testing area, or objects that obstruct public space, may be returned without warning. This clarification would confirm the intended practical use of the Linden Homes already provided in the sandbox. It would allow furniture creators and Linden Home residents to test scale, positioning, compatibility, and interior layouts before using items in their own homes. At the same time, it would prevent roads, landscaped areas, and other shared public spaces from being occupied by private houses, oversized builds, or objects unrelated to the testing of content inside the provided Linden Homes. This proposal would apply only to the Bellisseria Sandbox. It would not permit Residents to use ordinary residential Linden Home parcels as sandboxes.

On Saturday 3 October 2026, I won my single Boopie #40 (Tier 4 prize) after an intensive two-day hunt to collect 400 Halloween buckets across Bellisseria. In the earlier 2024 and 2025 events, collecting 400 buckets awarded three Boopies (Tiers 2, 3, and 4) alongside a Tier 1 shelf unit to display these Boopies. Winning only one Boopie in 2026 felt disappointing. This year's Tier 1–3 prizes felt unrewarding, the prizes felt like left-overs from the Swaginator Hunt and I would have preferred staying with the three Boopies and shelf format of 2025 and 2024. The new "Next" button on the 2026 HUD halved the collection time compared to previous years. At first, I welcomed it, but this feature quickly made the hunt feel too predictable and repetitive, removing the excitement of exploring unfamiliar areas of Bellisseria. To address this, could the LDPW please introduce a dual-HUD system for 2027? I suggest offering a standard HUD (with the "Next" button) and a separate "Hardcore Halloween Hunter" HUD (without "Next"). To prevent exploitation, each HUD should maintain an independent counter. Reintroducing the three-Boopie prize structure exclusively for the Hardcore Halloween HUD would highly incentivise dedicated collectors. Finally, I request that the LDPW issue a Bucket Placement Advisory Notecard to resident hosts to ensure reasonable Halloween bucket placement. Additionally, hosts should be encouraged to adjust their parcel security systems to allow hunters sufficient time to collect buckets without being automatically ejected from a Linden Home parcel.

We have an extremely large number of empty houseboats in Bellisseria. I was thinking how nice it would be to have a bunch of those converted into yacht moors for premium and premium plus members. The houseboats could be easily removed, leaving only the docks in place. And resident could moor their own yachts in the spaces, yacht club style. The parcel ToS can be updated to ensure people don't put houses out. And truthfully, the prim count for those spots could be increased by whatever the land impact of the removed houseboats was. There are a LOT of yacht owners in SL with no place to park their yachts. This would give new life to those regions as an entirely different type of 'home' with minimal change and effort. Please consider this.

Since LHs are residential and commercial activity is already disallowed, one could deduce that that ban includes Skill Gaming. BUT the recent blog entitled: "Skill Gaming is Breaking Out Grid-Wide!", containing the sentence " Approved Second Life Skill Gaming Operators (SLSGOs) can now set up and run their games outside of dedicated Skill Gaming regions on any Moderate or Adult land where land policies allow." may be construed by SLSGOs to permit Skill Gaming on LH regions, creating a support burden for LL (which presumably would deny any support ticket naming a LH region as a site for Skill Gaming deployment). E.g. I suggest the residential LH covenant clause banning commercial activity be updated with 3 words, capitalized below: "*Activities and items that could be construed by Linden Lab as commercial and for profit are not permitted in the residential homes and houseboats in Bellisseria. This includes using parcels for storing delivery servers, dropboxes or working vendors, OR SKILL GAMING. Tipping/Donations are allowed at functions held in Community Regions only." Btw, the residential covenant 1st paragraph seems to have a redundancy caused by an incomplete edit: "Welcome to Linden Homes for Premium account holders. Linden Homes is a residential community, Welcome to Linden Homes for Premium and Premium Plus account holders. Linden Homes is a residential community, located on the Bellisseria continent, owned and managed by Linden Lab. " I suggest this be shortened to read: "Welcome to Linden Homes for Premium and Premium Plus account holders. Linden Homes is a residential community, located on the Bellisseria continent, owned and managed by Linden Lab."

Dear Linden Lab/Moles etc. Please Consider a phased retroactive update of the older themed Linden Homes in Bellisaria 1) Update to PBR or Hybrid (PBR and PrePBR) textures ( this could be an additional 3 or 4 PBR houses in each of the house controllers) 2) Update Landscaping 3) Add Flora and Fauna some themes BEG for animals and some plants and flowers

After using/owning the various levels of LL homes that come with the various Membership levels, I end up being bored with them. Recently, I've been thinking about why this is and how they could be made more enjoyable. My suggestion is to make the layout of the LL homes more like what you would find in RL, in and around towns and villages. In real life, when you look at how a town or village has grown, it generally starts around a central feature like a river conflux, or perhaps beside a special feature on a road. Older houses and businesses are usually located in the central areas, with mostly smaller landholdings. As you move out, there are neighbourhoods of various ages and styles, and the parcels are generally bigger. What you don't see is what LL has done by creating minimal variations in housing, all in the same style for as far as you can see, all with the same size parcel and the same landscaping. When I had a Premium Plus home, the house itself was quite nice, but when I looked around, all the other houses were variations of mine. The same can be said for the other levels of membership. It wouldn't make sense to have tropical homes beside Nordic-style homes, of course, but otherwise, wisely mixing up the neighbourhoods would make things much less bland and more realistic. You could segue between seasonal homes and non-seasonal homes by buffering them with gradually changing foliage. Why not mix a 'little Italy' into the North American-style homes? Or mix a 'little Japan' beside the houses on stilts? There are many possibilities. Otherwise, we are stuck living in tract housing, and that is really unimaginative.

Ideally, the Linden Home's auto-close door setting would not only be announced by link message to the home's own scripts but be accessible to unlinked, user-created content on the parcel, including the "Extra door" items in the Content Creation Pack. But failing that (and it would be a more general solution anyway), the door script should be open source —or at the very least the sound assets provided, by UUID if nothing else—so we can replace the script ourselves but still maintain consistency with other doors in the build. If the user writes the script they can make it auto-close or not, but still it would be best if user scripts could access the current auto-close setting for the house-linked doors. (I'm working with the Ridgewood Enclave theme but presumably all themes frequently get user-added doors.)

In the past, support has previously said that they cannot handle abuse reports through the support portal. In addition, it is instinct for residents to file an abuse report for abusive content that is on Linden land. A recent clarification has been made on the forums (at https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/534114-horrible-building-in-newbrooke/page/2/#findComment-3079156 ) stating that abuse reports for Linden Home covenant violations need to go through the support portal in order to be routed to LDPW covenant enforcement team. This is really confusing, even to a veteran SL resident. No where in the covenant does it say that abuse reports for covenant violations need to be filed to the support portal. The only thing that is said is if you need help with your linden home. (Emphasis on "your", which implies only your linden home). Rephrasing it to something along these lines would really help clear up that discrepancy: "If you need help with your Linden Home, or to report Covenant violations:"
