WebRTC beta - Homestead
Good afternoon, Thank you so much for letting my little homestead participate in this beta! As soon as the WebRTC beta was installed on my homestead I noticed a HUGE issue. Firestorm / Second Life completed a driver update of some kind. I didn’t catch a screen shot of the update, but it occurred incredibly quickly, almost behind the scenes. Once complete, I noticed all of my audio services (Spotify, Youtube, Opera, Discord, Etc) experienced a huge decrease in intensity and volume. Second Life voice chat became extremely faint. Everything needed to be turned up to very high volumes to barely hear anything. However, when I teleport away from my homestead to my linden home, all audio intensity is instantly restored. I have added a warning on my land for guests to be aware of the drastic audio change because it caught me by surprise. Very glad it didn’t harm my ears. A few guests came over to help test the audio and commented that our voices were extremely faint and there was a lot of popping. Thinking this might be related, we teleported to my linden home. Audio was suddenly crisp, clear and plenty loud. Another test showed that while in a private call with my guests, and I teleported back to my homestead, the call would drop. I could not be added back to the call either. Least not until I teleported away to another sim. If we start the private call while on my homestead, the call quality will be horrible. Very faint, popping, cracking and decreasing the sound for all services. If a friend starts the call while I am on the homestead, it will let me join, and use the voice services from the sim my friend is on. The call will be crisp, clear and plenty loud. I have updated all my drivers, verified my install of Firestorm, and launched programs such as discord and spotify one at a time. The results seem to be the same across the board. I have not tried the SL viewer or the mobile viewer (not sure if mobile has voice). I have also found that being duel logged (having two sessions running at the same time) will multiple the issue. Any sound heard will be doubly quiet. Please let me know if you need any additional information or would like me to run any additional tests.

WebRTC voice servers just don't work for me.
I've been having an issue trying to use the new WebRTC voice servers when at any sim. My voice communications work fine when the sim is still using the Vivox voice servers, but I can't seem to use my mic or hear others when at a WebRTC sim. I've tried hundreds of troubleshooting options and nothing has worked yet. I've tried using other viewers (I normally use the latest firestorm), I have the same issue on Alchemy and on the SL Viewer. I've tried restarting my router, restarting/updating windows, a clean install of firestorm, a clean install of other/older versions of firestorm, I've even made sure that SLvoice.exe had an exception in my firewall. It seems nothing I do works. I asked the Firestorm Support group on SL, and they recommended I send feedback here. Some things of note: When I'm at a region where Vivox is the voice server being used, everything works fine. When I'm at a region using WebRTC Gateway, I can see the voice dots, I can see the green bars indicating use of voice, but when I use my microphone nothing gets picked up despite it not being any different than when I use it at a Vivox region. I've tried of course looking through the advanced menu and the debug settings and didn't see anything that would fix the issue. I restarted my router, my pc, updated windows, I've even tried other microphones and sound outputs, nothing I do works. And this is all while my voice and microphone fuctions work perfectly fine as soon as I go to a region with vivox or use other applications that use my microphone.
