I have been in bussiness for over 17 years in sl with the same group, I would love to add the word "Rentals" to the end of the group name so it explains what the group is about and is easier to find, if we can rename AV's, surely we can rename groups? the only way to rename a group at the present is to create a new group, evict everyone from the old group then invite them to the new group.

I have noticed that, for group notices, there are 3 different character limits in the 3 different places it displays. Where you write the notice. Where it displays in the group profile. Where it displays in the notification pop up. It would be much better if they all had the same max character limit so you couldn't type more than it displays in the group profile and pop up and, hence, never cuts off. I am using Firestorm like many people so if this is an Firestorm issue, please let me know and I will direct it to them.

A Group owner or admin can post a notice in the group. They then can tag a box so that this group notice will not expire/disappear in 2 weeks. This will be helpful when you want an object or notecard or certain instructional messages to be available for a longer period. It would prevent me (and other group owners/officers) from having to repost certain things (and forgetting that i have to) I also see it in other groups where admins point to a notice with instructions or an object and then realize it is gone and they have to hurry to repost. It could be limited to a certain number to not strain servers but i think it would bring server load down. I am not that tech savvy so i hope i explained it well.

As is, "Allow Push" only has a check mark in the about land info, there isnt even an option to grant this power to just group members. I propose that the this ability be added in Parcel Powers, in the Group menu. This will provide utility (and more importantly an element of fun). To controlling ne'er do wells. Example, if a parcel is group owned and the group has a Police Department to maintain order, those in the police role will have the ability to restrain said person and pull them aside. Theres also other places where this ability will prove useful.

We would like to see a dissolution function implemented for Second Life groups. When dissolving a group, it would be desirable to set a 10-day grace period during which purchases can be canceled. Under the current specifications, the larger the group, the more time and effort it takes to dissolve it.

Yet another day of begging bots hitting many groups and asking for 100L. It's deeply tedious for group moderators, and users are being scammed. For whatever reason this is a problem that has plagued SL for years without any sign of resolution. A common solution has been to put a L$1 sign up fee for groups. This is less than ideal because it creates a barrier to users who have no money at that moment. Also it's no longer working, as I've seen a begging bot kicked out of such a group today. We had a big discussion about solutions in the "Friends of Philip" group, and finding any solution that doesn't create problems of its own seems hard. However I'd like to suggest that when people join a group, they are presented with a challenge-response problem. The issues with Captcha itself are well documented, but some simple challenge that's easy for users and hard for bots (perhaps based on the "honeypot" method?) could dramatically help with this. Maybe this should be a separate entry, but it would also be immensely helpful to have an alternative to group bans, allowing us to temporarily ban a user. Currently these bots get banned, vanish, and are still clogging up the group ban list. If we had temporary (say 1 month) bans as an option, they'd get cleared out of the group ban list.

Not for ALL time, just for an hour or two. Sometimes, we're busy in-world doing something - and a constant tide of incoming group notices and chats can be distracting. I know we can opt out of group notices in the individual groups, but I'm actually talking about an OVERALL option for s period of time (15, 30, 45, 60 120 minutes?).

Kicking person out of group, can we please close the loophole where they can still talk in group unless they relog or log out or their viewer crashes. As they no longer in group and should not be able to post in there no more as it annoying loophole as it currently stands and it too often exploited.

allow group notice creator / group owner to delete sent notices. Sometimes it happens by accident that attachment were sent, or wrong info was accidentally given. Most brands experienced the error of accidentally sending a fatpack instead of a demo in the notices and it would be great to have the option to delete that.

Groups: Allow groups to exclusively interact as a store brand, or as a personal/community group. Store brand, and community groups can provide a landmark, and there should be a new button provided to group called "VISIT PLACE" or "VISIT STORE" (see example: https://i.imgur.com/5jQtJbJ.png )
